Exhibition of Christmas cribs

An exhibition of Christmas cribs takes place in Toblach / Dobbiaco, near the Appartements Hause zur Vogelweide, on Sunday, the 5th December 2010. Everybody can admire this wonderful cribs from 9 am till 6 pm.

If you don’t have the possibility to visit this exhibition in Toblach / Dobbiaco, you can visit the museum of the Christmas cribs at Hotel Luna in Sexten.

The Time of the scary figures comes…

When the days get shorter and the nights get longer, the devils in South Tyrol came in the village to punish the Kids, which wasn't good during the year. But the “krampus” came also for the traditional parades. This year the parades will take place in Colle in Val Casies, in Sesto and in Dobbiaco with many devils also from Austria and Germany. Visit the Val Pusteria and don’t miss this spooky and infernal show!

It’s the 11th November – the St. Martin’s day. For this cause we would like to present you the following song:

33th “Völser Kuchlkastl”

The 33th “Völser Kuchlkastl” is taking place in Völs am Schlern / Fiè allo Sciliar in October 2010. Friends of culinary and traditional specialties must participate on these gastronomic weeks. Original dishes based on old recipes, nearly forgotten, are being cooked.

Restaurant owners of Fiè have been inviting to take part on these weeks since 1978 and surprise every year with new recipes.
